Undergraduate Student Senate at Virginia Tech

We are USS at Virginia Tech. The voice of every Hokie, for every Hokie.
The Undergraduate Student Senate (USS) is the official governing body of undergraduate students at Virginia Tech. Through representing over 30,000 undergraduate Hokies within the shared governance system, creating legislative recommendations that supports a positive and inclusive student experience, and disseminating a portion of the student activity fee to registered student organizations, we are a group of servant leaders here to serve you!

Hey Hokies!

Welcome to the Undergraduate Student Senate (USS) website. Our underlying focus in everything we do is enhancing the student experience, and we pride ourselves on the tremendous relationships we have across campus. In our conversations with students, faculty and staff, and university administrators, we are dedicated to amplifying student voices so that our perspective is fully understood. Being the only unicameral student government in the nation, USS is unique in that our structure is specifically designed to represent Virginia Tech and its students to the highest extent. Whatever the issue may be, we can put you in contact with the right people to best serve you! Make sure to follow our Instagram page to receive the latest updates, and the Virginia Tech community is invited to attend our Senate meetings every other Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in Squires Student Center. Always feel free to reach out to us at uss@vt.edu. Go Hokies!
