Hey Hokies!

Welcome to the Undergraduate Student Senate (USS) website! Representative of the entire undergraduate student population at Virginia Tech, we, as the USS have an immense goal—to improve the undergraduate student experience while embodying the ideals of Ut Prosim (That I May Serve) and servant leadership in all that we do. As the only unicameral student government in the nation, we strive to be a national leader for collegiate student governance. However, to do this begins from within through our student senators, who work to create impactful legislation, practice collaborative advocacy, and exhibit exemplary character. Across USS, you will find the values of approachability, accessibility, inclusivity, representation, stewardship, and integrity embodied in each of our senators. As the representative body of the undergraduate student population, we welcome student input and encourage students' participation in the policy process; it is for these reasons that we invite members of the Virginia Tech community to attend our Senate meetings, which are held on select Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Squires Student Center.
